Studio 804, a non-profit design-build studio at the University of Kansas, pioneers sustainable, passive, net-zero architecture. Since 2008, all their designs have achieved LEED Platinum Certification, focusing on energy efficiency and modern aesthetics.

Led by architecture professor Dan Rockhill, the studio's latest project integrates local design elements with innovative features like rain-screen ventilated facades and solar panels. With a collaborative effort involving graduate students and other companies, they create eco-friendly homes that enhance community resilience and combat climate change.

This initiative reflects a growing trend towards sustainable, energy-efficient housing solutions.
