The successful completion of the SmartWall panel prototypes tests marks a major milestone for the REHOUSE Project, aiming to renovate buildings quickly while keeping disruptions to the occupants to a minimum.

The SmartWall panel prototypes have successfully passed fire and earthquake tests, and have used simulation software to check their thermal properties and structural strength.

Now, production of the final SmartWall products is underway, and the prefabricated panels will soon be ready for transport. When the production is finished and the panels reach the installation site, the main goal of the REHOUSE Project will be achieved through the demonstration of the SmartWall Renovation Package (TRL7).
