Sustainable renovation: giving a voice to property owners

Participate in the UIPI survey on sustainable building renovation and help enrich the discussion on future building policies.
Luca Papapietro

The International Union of Property Owners (UIPI) has launched a new survey to gather property owners' perspectives on building renovations, following the adoption of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, soon to be implemented in national law.

This survey aims to assess what property owners have done, their plans, motivations, and challenges related to making buildings more sustainable.

Supported by several EU projects (One Click Reno, Build Up Speed, Condoreno and Craft EU),  the survey seeks to influence future EU policies to ensure they are both affordable and effective.

A previous UIPI survey in 2021 revealed that 77% of European property owners supported making their properties more energy-efficient. However, financial barriers were a concern, with 31% citing economic issues and 54% desiring subsidies for renovations.

Participants can complete the survey in 10 minutes for a chance to win a 50-euro Amazon gift card.

The survey will be open until 20 October 2024.
