WEDISTRICT consortium met for the installation of a fossil-free heating and cooling demonstrator at University Politehnica of Bucharest
The WEDISTRICT consortium has met at University Politehnica of Bucharest in Romania to present the project´s next heating and cooling demonstrator which has replaced the old system of the University.
Indeed, the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) is the oldest university in Romania and has been collaborating with the project to develop innovative 100% fossil-free heating and cooling solutions for new and existing district heating and cooling systems.
In particular, the Renewable Energy Sources Laboratory building has been retrofitted thanks to the WEDISTRICT project and it is now equipped with a green hybrid heating and cooling system.
