The purpose of the webinar was to begin exploring the topic of knowledge transfer for energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in buildings. In particular, the audience learned about the importance of knowledge transfer in the sector, how BUILD UP facilitates knowledge transfer, and how ongoing projects are developing knowledge-sharing strategies at the local and regional level with specific examples from the IN-PLAN and the PROSPECT+ projects.
The webinar began with an introduction from the BUILD UP team, followed by a presentation from Blerta Vula Rizvanolli, BUILD UP Ambassador, Architect and Lecturer at the University for Business and Technology, who introduced the topic of knowledge transfer and how BUILD UP acts as a facilitator in this field.
Blerta was followed by a presentation from Giulia Pizzini - Senior energy expert at the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policies (IEECP) about the PROSPECT+ capacity-building programme which offers mentoring and training on innovative financing schemes.
After Giulia, we heard from Tomislav Novosel - Expert Advisor at the North-West Croatia Regional Energy Agency (REGEA) who presented the “IN-PLAN Practice” and the capacity-building programme that helps local and regional agencies to teach their governments how to use it.
After all presentations, there was a brief Q&A discussion, with specific questions for the IN-PLAN and PROSPECT+ project, and then a general question about knowledge transfer for all speakers.
