The deep renovation of a historic Spanish office building, dating back to 1903, is showcased through outPHit's documentation. A newly released video highlights VAND arquitectura's efforts to enhance its energy efficiency, offering insights into innovative solutions for airtightness. The 3,000+ square meter space is being certified to the EnerPHit Standard, aligned with Passive House principles. 

Modernisation proposal

The EnerPHit Standard has been achieved through the Energy Demand Method, including a complete renovation of:

• building envelope insulation

• windows, doors, and roller shutter replacement

• airtightness improvement

• ventilation system with heat recovery installation

• heating and cooling system renovation

• improvement of existing thermal bridges
