The Parc de Collserola in Barcelona houses the 3D Printed Earth Forest Campus, showcasing sustainable construction by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC).

Using WASP's large-format 3D printing, the IAAC built a 100 m² low-carbon prototype from local soil and organic materials, featuring diverse architectural spaces.

The buildings use natural stone foundations and stabilised earth walls, 3D printed with locally sourced materials. Construction took 10 days, with walls 50% hollow for material efficiency, insulation, and ventilation

The project aims to demonstrate 3D printing's potential in sustainable housing, winning the Shaping a Circular Industrial Ecosystem prize at the 2023 New European Bauhaus.
