RISE Design Studio transformed a mid-terrace house in Kensal Rise, North West London, into a model of sustainable urban living. Key features include an EnerPHit-standard retrofit, air source heat pump, solar panels, and enhanced insulation, resulting in a 75% reduction in energy consumption. The renovation emphasises open-plan living spaces, a garden studio for work-from-home, and sustainable materials like clay plaster and micro cement.
The project not only enhances the homeowners' quality of life but also serves as a blueprint for future eco-friendly urban housing, with potential applications across London and beyond.
