Knox Bhavan architecture studio carried out a project aimed to modernise Love Walk II, a Victorian villa in London, while preserving its historic charm.
Energy efficiency measures such as insulation, double-glazed windows, were integrated, alongside reusing existing materials during the renovation process to minimise embodied carbon. Solar panels were installed to power an air-source heat pump for heating and hot water.
The design promotes aging in place and sustainability, ensuring a comfortable and eco-friendly home.
