Dominique Coulon & associés designed a mixed-use complex in Strasbourg's historic Krutenau district, showcasing sustainable and space-efficient architecture on a compact 120-square-meter plot. 

The structure combines offices and residences, with lower-level offices providing street-level transparency and rooftop spaces offering communal amenities like an organic swimming pool and kitchen garden. 

Sustainable features include high energy efficiency, bio-sourced materials, and an exterior of charred larch wood, a durable, eco-friendly choice. 

The irregular window layout and bold, coloured shutters animate the dark façade, while varied floor heights and interconnected spaces create a dynamic interior, reflecting a modern, eco-conscious urban development model.
