The project involves retrofitting an old structure originally built in the late 1890s and expanded in the 1970s, located in the busy town centre of Skopelos, Greece.
The renovation focused on preserving and insulating the original exterior walls and wooden floors, with a new roof and a new concrete foundation slab.
The facade has been redesigned by enlarging and reorganizing openings to enhance its overall appearance. Additionally, the project prioritised reducing embodied carbon and ensuring the healthiness of all materials and finishes used.
