The IsZEB Cluster was founded in 2020 with special focus on the Construction domain aiming to provide tools and guidelines for the entire lifecycle of a smart zero or positive energy building.

Established in the region of Central Macedonia, it offers multiple services, covering the phases of planning, commissioning, construction, renovation, demolition and recycling of buildings and building components. 

IsZEB is working towards the combination of ICT technologies with Energy Solutions in order to establish Smart Building Energy Certificates, that leverage existing and new technologies such as the Energy Performance Certificates and the Smart Readiness Indicators, as well as a guide of best practices on the creation, operation and maintenance of Smart Zero and Positive Energy Buildings. 

Their goal is to interconnect science, innovation and the economy, with all stakeholders in the construction and renovation sector of buildings, with regards to the criteria of Smart Zero and Positive Energy Buildings. Established in the region of Central Macedonia, the cluster includes the leading Greek companies and authorities in the field.
