Circular economies can significantly reduce pressure on natural resources and create sustainable growth, contributing to the achievement of the European Green Deal goals. The Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) has already assembled a network of projects and stakeholders, fostering the implementation of circular economies in Europe. 

The EU-funded K-CCRI project aims to expand the efforts of the CCRI, speeding up the transition and reducing the differences across European Member States and sectors. K-CCRI aims to make circular economies a reality, especially in cities and regions where practices are still limited in scale, depth, and speed of adoption. 

The project will act as a knowledge hub, utilising current connections and data to spread best practices, improve awareness, and expand access to data and technologies.
