BAOBAP’s ambition is to accelerate the renovation rate and improve the energy saving gains of public building renovations in small and mid-size municipalities through the deployment of multiple regional units of BAOBAP’s renovation support service across France and Europe in order to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and achieve 40% energy savings by 2030.

Current building renovations rates are unaligned with the EU’s and Member States’ objectives on GHG emission reductions, energy savings and, most recently, the shift away from fossil energy sources in favour of local renewable energy vectors.
