The three-year project has just kicked off on 20 September 2023 at NOI Techpark, Bolzano. The project name "HeatMineDH" stands for "Low-Grade Renewable and Waste Heat Mapping and Investment Planning for Efficient District Heating" and is coordinated by Eurac Research together with seven European partners. The aim is to support utilities and municipalities in achieving efficient district heating in the next 10 years.
The project will develop eight feasibility studies and practical investment plans for the integration of low-grade renewable and waste heat sources. These utilities are located in Croatia, Germany, Italy and Poland.
