The FYLI_NZES (Near-Zero Energy Schools in the Municipality of Fyli) project aims to accelerate sustainable energy investments in public schools of all grades in the Municipality of Fyli (Attica Region). 

The ultimate goal is to promote Near-Zero Energy Schools in a territory characterised by energy poverty, socioeconomic disparities, and social exclusion, by achieving significant energy savings through targeted energy efficiency interventions along with sufficient energy generation from renewables. 

FYLI_NZES aligns with the European Green Deal and other key EU and national/regional/local initiatives and builds upon the results of relevant EU-funded projects, such as the EIB’s ELENA Facility and LIFE CET PDA.
