INDICATE LIFE generates the methodological and data foundations essential for developing national whole-life-carbon (WLC) across Europe. Reducing the lifecycle emission of buildings is indispensable to ensure the construction sector is on a path to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. 

On the more short term, the project prepares the ground for the effective implementation of the EPBD recast provisions on WLC (Art. 7 and Annex 3).
