To support small and medium-sized cities (SMCs) in Europe towards decarbonisation, it is crucial to provide funding and resources, foster knowledge sharing, develop partnerships, encourage local leadership, and promote public awareness. 

In this context, the EU-funded SMCNetZero project will bring together six successful urban innovation initiatives in Europe and seven regional and Pan European networks to create a Satellite Network of innovation actors.
