TwinAIR project

TwinAIR project
An investigation of indoor air quality and how it relates to external factors is the focus of the EU-funded TwinAIR project.
With the aim of improving quality of life in the city, the project will introduce innovative tools for identifying and tracing pollutants and pathogens to increase understanding of their effects and assess their impact on health.
These tools will allow the control of building management systems and services encouraging citizens to develop better insights into pollution impacts, and transport planners, facility managers and policymakers to develop effective interventions to mitigate air pollution effects on health.
The project will implement demonstrations in residential and public buildings, hospitals, vehicles and schools, in six pilot sites in Europe.
TwinAIR participates in the European cluster on indoor air quality and health.
