AI for Future Cities explores the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in urban planning, design, construction, and management. 

Compiled by Arup’s Foresight team, the series examines AI’s potential to improve efficiency, innovation, and sustainability while addressing risks and challenges. 

It provides insights into AI’s current urban applications, emerging trends, and future possibilities. 

The first issue focuses on generative AI’s impact on urban planning, its influence on decision-making, and the evolving skillsets of practitioners, emphasising the need for responsible AI use in shaping cities for people and the planet.
