New Guidelines for EPBD Implementation

Eurovent, REHVA, and the Nordic Ventilation Group have jointly proposed modifications and guidelines for the implementation of Article 11a 'Indoor Environmental Quality' in the revised EPBD (Energy Performance of Buildings Directive).

The recent addition of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) provisions to Articles 11 and 11a aims to ensure healthy and comfortable IEQ within buildings. The collaborative document outlines the requirements of IEQ distinguishing between elements necessitating regulatory intervention from those more suited to technical guidance documents such as European standards or national technical guidance.
