Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) help reduce the EU’s building-related CO2 emissions. Success stories, from Hungary to Spain, showcase trust-building, tailored support, and financial solutions for sustainable renovations.

The MultiHome Integrated Home Renovation Service, launched by the Energy Agency of Plovdiv (EAP), Bulgaria, in November 2023, offers comprehensive energy services for home renovation in the Plovdiv region. It targets vulnerable households, multifamily buildings, and energy communities across 18 municipalities.

The service includes administrative, technical, and social consultations, along with financial mediation to help homeowners navigate renovations. By 2026, MultiHome aims to support over 40 multifamily buildings and additional projects.

Financed initially by the LIFE CET program, it seeks long-term sustainability through service fees and partnerships. Its success relies on collaboration, local expertise, and trusted provider networks.
