On 28 May 2024, in conjunction with the entry into force of the revised EPBD, the 'REHVA manifesto for sustainable, healthy and affordable buildings' has been released.

Emphasising energy efficiency, renewable energy use, and decarbonised systems, the manifesto calls for holistic approaches, smart technologies, and cost-effective solutions. Prioritising indoor air quality and affordability, it advocates for regulatory measures, incentives, and support for property owners. HVAC professionals are pivotal in driving energy efficiency and sustainability. The manifesto seeks endorsement from European Parliament candidates, aiming to garner support for REHVA's vision of a healthier and more efficient EU.
