RenoPont in Hungary

RenoPont is a Hungarian initiative providing free consultancy, financial guidance, and professional referrals for energy-efficient home renovations, funded through awareness activities and energy efficiency projects.

Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) help reduce the EU’s building-related CO2 emissions. Success stories, from Hungary to Spain, showcase trust-building, tailored support, and financial solutions for sustainable renovations.

RenoPont, established in 2019 under the EU-funded RENOHUB-H2020 project, is an initiative of the Hungarian Energy Efficiency Institute aimed at promoting energy-efficient home renovations in Hungary.

Operating through an office and website since 2021, RenoPont offers free consultancy services, energy audits, financial guidance, and professional referrals for renovation needs like heating and window replacements. It is financed through awareness-raising and energy efficiency projects, without government subsidies.

RenoPont's step-by-step support system includes website resources, consultations, and expert recommendations.

Despite funding challenges, RenoPont’s expertise, adaptability, and involvement in energy efficiency schemes position it for future growth and financial sustainability.
