Seven steps to cooperative renovation
Ressorts has released a publication offering a seven-pronged approach to building renovation, emphasising cooperation among stakeholders. The guide highlights principles including Role and Identity, Diversity and Unity, Objectives and Constraints, Resisting and Moving Towards, Organic and Planned, Acting and Thinking Together, and Personal and Social Transformation.
This framework stems from action research by the Institut des Territoires Coopératifs and aims to navigate the complexities of the building sector. It proposes fostering open dialogue and understanding personal motivations to enhance trust. The guide advocates for recognising both diverse contributions and shared goals to achieve sustainable renovation.
Ultimately, Ressorts envisions this cooperative method as pivotal in driving the sector towards zero-net energy housing and combating energy poverty.
This Ressorts’ guide was published as part of the Energiesprong approach through the LIFE Cosme Reno project.
