It features four neighborhoods in different climates: Verksbyen (Norway), Loopkanstraat (Netherlands), Gneis District (Austria), and Fondo (Spain).
Each neighborhood integrates passive systems (e.g., high-quality insulation, airtight buildings) and active systems (e.g., solar panels, heat pumps).
Innovations include energy sharing, smart house technology, and community engagement.
The project emphasises low carbon design, renewable energy, and social commitment, aiming to demonstrate the viability of plus-energy neighborhoods.
