Standardised On-site Audits of Smart Readiness Indicator for Buildings

Standardised On-site Audits of Smart Readiness Indicator for Buildings
The CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement (CWA) provides a standardised procedure for on-site SRI audits, ensuring reliable assessments and supporting the development of smart, efficient, and environmentally responsible buildings. This framework builds on research from the Smart Square project, funded by the LIFE21-CET-SMARTREADY call.
Regulation 2020/2156 of the EU allows Member States to integrate the SRI scheme with existing energy audit mechanisms. The Smart Square project aims to develop a distinctive SRI audit methodology by combining established procedures from the EN 16247 energy audit standard with a thorough analysis of SRI content and data recording needs. The CWA document includes sections on methodology, documentation, auditor competence, and implementation, contributing significantly to energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings.
