The World Green Building Council launched the #BuildingLife Roadmap Analysis report at the Paris summit on 5 march 2024, showcasing progress in integrating Whole Life Carbon (WLC) considerations into the European Green Deal.
Key successes include the EU Policy Whole Life Carbon Roadmap's adoption by the European Commission, increased WLC discourse across EU nations, and the development of 12 national roadmaps aligned with EU policies and standards.
Over 1,550 stakeholders contributed to shaping these roadmaps, marking significant strides in sustainability within the building sector.
