In the run-up to RE2025* (Environmental Regulation), the Forum will be showcasing innovative solutions on the market, as reflected in the most up-to-date projects using wood and bio-based materials.

The Paris Agreement of Cop 21, set the year 2050 as the horizon to achieve carbon neutrality and thus limit global warming to +1.5°C. The year 2025 is a milestone for the success of the ecological transition. It has now become imperative to move faster towards carbon neutrality, starting with the construction industry, which is the biggest polluter in terms of carbon emissions (land development, materials, transport, construction, use, deconstruction and reuse).

The FBC 2025 theme will demonstrate how forest, timber and bisourced materials are essential in the fight against global warming, thanks to the sequestration of carbon in forest ecosystems, its storage in wood products and the prevention of GHG emissions through the substitution effect.
