Digitalisation is one of the most important social issues of our times, affecting almost every area of life and work. The rapid pace of technological development is opening up new possibilities for the use of innovative technologies. The European Union has also recognised this and, with the amendment of the EPBD Directive, has called for the development of a Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI). The first proposal for the SRI was published in October 2020. The idea behind the Smart Readiness Indicator is to get people thinking about smart buildings and how we can make them more energy efficient and perform better overall.

The conference aims to give all the scientists who've been working on SRI the chance to share their findings with anyone interested. All scientists and companies are cordially invited to share their findings with the SRI community. This is not limited to the official test phases of individual countries and EU research projects, but is explicitly requested for other research projects.
