Integrating tried-and-tested solutions for deep renovation of the EU building stock
Technical solutions and best practices are already available. Several EU-funded projects on deep renovation of buildings (EUROPA, OutPHit, SAVE THE HOMES, and re-MODULEES) identify and integrate such solutions together, leading to substantial added value and the possibility of breakthroughs in market uptake. Beyond the technical solutions, a significant factor is financing, elaborated by SMAFIN through multi-stakeholder dialogues, as a follow-up to the Sustainable Energy Investment Forum initiative.
