The revised Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) expands the responsibilities of public authorities at all levels, introducing new obligations for energy savings and building renovation. This creates a growing need for reliable, consistent data from local and regional bodies to support national reporting.

In this fourth streamSAVE+ Dialogue, we will discuss how standardised methods and digital tools can support multilevel monitoring and help bridge the gap between local action and national compliance. Drawing on concrete examples from Austria, Belgium-Flanders, and France, the session will highlight practical approaches to gathering, managing, and using energy data in the public sector.
