The 18th CISBAT International Conference on the Built Environment in Transition will be held from 3 to 5 September 2025 at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The conference aims to explore the transition to carbon neutrality in the built environment, covering energy efficiency, renewable energy, and circularity. Highlights include interdisciplinary dialogue, hybrid participation options, and the scenic Lake Geneva region.

Abstracts are invited for topics under operation (energy management, efficiency, control), well-being (comfort, health, indoor environment), and circularity (materials, embodied energy, construction).

The submission process involves an abstract due by 31 October 2024, followed by a full paper if accepted. Papers will be published in IOP's JOURNAL OF PHYSICS Conference Series.
