Advancing green transition in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania

The three countries will receive funding from EU's Modernisation Fund for renewable energy projects

The European Union will pay out €1.385 billion from its Modernisation Fund to Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania, as part of its effort to support the green transition.

The funding will be used for 31 projects focused on renewable electricity generation, such as the installation of photovoltaic panels, on energy network modernization, and on energy efficiency.
