The Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place is an annual conference showcasing successful projects on financing energy efficiency, climate adaptation and innovative energy planning, as well as initiatives working across Europe to facilitate the market for climate and sustainable energy finance. The conference brings together cities, financial institutions and other actors to exchange good practices and successful solutions to common challenges.
This 2022 Edition is jointly organised by the European Commission’s Directorates-Generals for Energy and Climate Action, the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). BUILD UP will be present with a physical stand in the Conference that will take place on 18 October in the Sofitel Hotel, Place Jourdan in Brussels.
Many successful projects will be featured, along with high-level representatives, including projects on local and regional planning, mobilization of energy investments and, more interestingly, projects presenting emerging approaches to boost energy efficiency in residential and commercial buildings.
Under this “strand”, five EU-projects will be presented covering several areas of work, such as measures to boost energy efficiency investments in private and commercial buildings, one-stop-shops to stimulate renovation demand or renovation of multi-family buildings to mitigate energy poverty.
