Call for evidence: boost lending and protect vulnerable households in renovating worst-performing buildings

The European Commission seeks feedback on a regulation to help credit institutions boost financing for energy renovations of worst-performing buildings, with submissions open until November 5, 2024.

The European Commission has launched a call for evidence to prepare a delegated regulation aimed at helping credit institutions increase financing for energy renovations of the worst-performing buildings

Based on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, this voluntary portfolio will focus on boosting lending while protecting vulnerable households.

Stakeholders can submit feedback until November 5, 2024. The next step is a 3-month public consultation, with feedback published on the Commission's website.
