Call for papers: enhancing IEQ in the built environment

23 September 2024
The Journal of Building Design and Environment is inviting researchers to contribute articles on improving energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and occupant well-being in the built environment.
Editorial Team

The Journal of Building Design and Environment is seeking contributions for its special issue focused on indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and its impact on human health.

The journal invites researchers to submit original articles that explore methods to improve energy efficiency, optimise space design, daylighting, and thermal environments to enhance occupant well-being

Given that buildings account for 45% of carbon emissions, this issue supports global efforts to achieve net carbon neutrality by 2050.

Key topics include building performance, energy efficiency strategies, computer simulations, and case studies highlighting sustainable communities and improved urban living.

Submission Deadline: 30 Nov 2024
