During the Power-to-Buildings Business Hub in Brussels, the discussion revolved around the decarbonisation of the EU building stock and electrification, focusing on challenges and opportunities to make it more energy efficient.

The Power-to-Buildings is an initiative by Eurelectric, the federation of the European electricity industry, aiming at gathering segments of the energy buildings value chain and policymakers to exchange about the acceleration of building stock renovation for a more sustainable Europe.
Participants received the latest developments of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), innovative solutions, technologies and best practices for energy efficiency in buildings, infrastructures and utilities. Other topics covered were the efficiency of electrical installations in buildings, decentralised energy systems and home charging of electric vehicles.
