Europe’s construction sector, represented by the Construction 2050 Alliance, has reached out to President von der Leyen, supporting EU efforts on housing and sustainability

In an October 31 letter, the Alliance expressed readiness to aid the next Commission in competitiveness and job creation, affordable, energy-efficient housing, and sustainability and innovation

Key proposals focus on low-carbon solutions and the circular economy. They seek constructive dialogue with the Commission and have joined an ad-hoc coalition to recommend strategies for Europe’s Affordable Housing Plan.
