European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition launched

The Coalition aligns with EU directives on energy efficiency, energy performance of buildings and the European Green Deal objective of achieving net-neutrality by 2050.

The European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition was launched with the aim of mobilising private investment and enhancing market uptake for energy efficiency.
Led by European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, the initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between EU countries, financial institutions, and the Commission to establish a sustainable funding framework for energy efficiency investments.
