First tests at Slovenian pilot for INFINITE project
The first mock-up tests have been undergoing at the town of Ravne na Koroškem in Slovenia.
The INFINITE project in Slovenia marked significant progress with mock-up tests of a façade renovation in the town of Ravne na Koroškem. The demo building showcased the installation of prefabricated BIPV façade elements, addressing challenges in movement, transportation, and fixation. The project tackled complexities, including adding a new floor to an existing structure, requiring meticulous planning for the central heating and cooling system.
Technical meetings refined placement of ventilation units and optimised the integration of district heating, heat pumps, and ventilation. The achievement brings INFINITE closer to its goal of enhancing building energy efficiency through industrialised deep retrofit, thanks to collaborative efforts from various teams.
