Google's new energy efficient office built entirely with mass timber

Google's new office, built entirely from mass timber, showcases sustainable design with energy efficient features, responsible sourcing, and a focus on environmental and community well being.

Google has constructed an innovative office entirely made of mass timber, a sustainable material that reduces carbon emissions by 96%. The building includes energy efficient solar panels, large skylights, and smart technology to minimise energy consumption

Sourced responsibly from FSC-certified forests, the project aligns with Google’s sustainability goals, which aim to reduce carbon emissions by 1 gigaton annually by 2030.

Additionally, the campus features pollinator-friendly plants to support ecosystem restoration

This building is seen as a model for future office construction, demonstrating the potential of sustainable practices to benefit both the environment and human well being.
