Greece has launched a EUR 223.2 million support programme to help households install solar heaters and heat pumps under the RePowerEU initiative and the National Recovery Plan. 

The program covers 50% to 60% of costs based on income and aims to reduce energy consumption. It applies to both primary and secondary residences, factoring in household size, location, and climate. 

Other programs, such as a EUR 434 million energy-saving initiative, target homes, schools, and water utilities, with special focus on colder regions.

Despite previous delays in funding, the government insists on sticking to application deadlines.
