Green Solutions Award: the 2022-2023 Grand Prize was awarded to Plymouth's 5th generation heating and cooling grid for its innovative approach to energy challenges and decarbonisation efforts across a 50,000m² energy community.

Applications for the 2024-2025 edition are open until February 10, with a target of 230 projects from 25 countries.

The launch occurred at Batimat, Paris, emphasising France's decarbonisation ambitions, including a new distinction for projects meeting the Chaillot Declaration's criteria.

The competition will culminate at COP30 in Brazil, featuring awards for sustainable buildings, districts, and infrastructures, alongside a communications campaign to highlight participant achievements.
