The EXCESS project has interviewed Florencio Manteca González, Director for the Energy Transition in Cities at the National Renewable Energy Centre for Spain (CENER) to discuss about the acceptance and integration of Energy Positive Buildings (PEBs) into the Spanish energy and housing market. In particular, they focus on the technology solutions for PEBs developed by CENER, on the demo buildings of the EXCESS project in Spain, the general obstacles of implementing PEBs, and main takeaways from the EXCESS project.
