Reducing emissions in construction requires shifting from replacement to repair, though many buildings aren't designed for it.

ETH, in collaboration with Basler & Hofmann, has created the CAS ETH in Repair and Maintenance (CAS ETH ReMain), an interdisciplinary course for professionals in architecture, civil engineering, building technology, and related fields.

The interdisciplinary course focuses on scalable repair and maintenance strategies. Applications open on 1 September, 2024, with more details available here.

The program will be featured at ETH Industry Day on 21 November at the Zurich Convention Center.
