Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has allocated over $2.8 million to FPInnovations for three key projects aimed at promoting sustainability

The funding, distributed through NRCan’s Green Construction through Wood (GCWood) programme and the Zero Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative (ZEVAI), will support the expansion of low-carbon Canadian wood in construction and the development of zero-emissions vehicles for forestry and commercial transport.

FPInnovations will use over $2.5 million to enhance wood-based construction systems and $212,000 to advance zero-emission vehicle technology.

This initiative underscores a commitment to reducing emissions, boosting sustainable job creation, and meeting Canada’s greenhouse gas reduction targets.
