Low-carbon manufacturing awards
The awards celebrate companies that implement effective decarbonisation strategies, including the use of sustainable materials, process improvements, renewable energy, recycled waste materials, and extended product lifespans. Each winner has showcased significant potential to decarbonise their respective product category, either immediately with established solutions or within the next five years for new innovations. The awards highlight the industry leaders driving measurable change towards low-carbon manufacturing.
Among the winners, Tate was recognised for its RMG600+ Raised Access Floor Panel, which incorporates over 90% recycled content, achieving a 50% reduction in embodied carbon. Voestalpine Metsec was honoured for its Decarb Purlins and Framing, which reduce embodied carbon through energy-efficient manufacturing and zero waste-to-landfill practices. Signify received recognition for its Philips Copenhagen LED Gen2, which reduces its carbon footprint by 28% using bio-based polyethylene and recycled aluminium.
