Designed for smart buildings, Merlin learns user behaviour and adjusts controls like thermostats to reduce grid strain, particularly during peak hours, while maintaining comfort. 

This system supports the transition to decentralised energy systems powered by renewable sources. 

The next step is to test Merlin in diverse communities, ensuring it is user-friendly and effective in promoting greener energy use.
