BEWI, a member of EUMEPS, has launched Sweden’s first EPS (expanded polystyrene) recycling hub in Norrköping, enhancing its recycling capacity by 40%.

This facility recycles 700-800 tonnes of EPS monthly, preventing waste incineration and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

It aligns with BEWI’s circularity goals and Europe’s sustainable resource management.

The strategic location in Norrköping supports efficient logistics and future scalability.

BEWI’s other recycling facilities in Portugal and the Czech Republic collectively handle 35,000 tonnes annually.

This initiative contributes to the European Green Deal, promoting a circular economy and showcasing the value of innovative recycling solutions for sustainability.
